2 Corinthians 11:5, 7-8 ESV

Indeed, I consider that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles. Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached God’s gospel to you free of charge? I robbed other churches by accepting support from them in order to serve you.

Psalms 106:7-8, 13-14 ESV

Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.  Yet he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make known his mighty power.  But they soon forgot his works; they did not wait for his counsel.  But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert;

1 Samuel 26:19 ESV

Now therefore let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is the Lord who has stirred you up against me, may he accept an offering, but if it is men, may they be cursed before the Lord , for they have driven me out this day that I should have no share in the heritage of the Lord , saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’

1 Samuel 27:10-12 ESV

When Achish asked, “Where have you made a raid today?” David would say, “Against the Negeb of Judah,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Jerahmeelites,” or, “Against the Negeb of the Kenites.” And David would leave neither man nor woman alive to bring news to Gath, thinking, “lest they should tell about us and say, ‘So David has done.’” Such was his custom all the while he lived in the country of the Philistines. And Achish trusted David, thinking, “He has made himself an utter stench to his people Israel; therefore he shall always be my servant.”

I Corinthians 13:1 - 13

Nine: If we don't have love, we have nothing. We must love our neighbor as our self and must love Jesus and believe in Him.

Twelve: We can do all the great deeds in the world, but they will be hollow if we do not have love. We must look to Jesus for love, hope, and faith.

Forty-seven: It can be so hard to have love when things aren't going your way or are otherwise frustrating. This is when I know I need to pray, pray, pray!
